I bought a game key of the sims 4 seasons from cd keys. I’ve never had any problems before but when i activated the key it activated like normal but it wouldn’t let me download. Now it says i have not purchased seasons but when i try to activate the key again it’s assigned to my account but says it has already been used.
If you're running into any issues with a code purchased through a 3rd party retailer, you'll need to reach back out to that retailer to look into a refund or replacement for this purchase.

I bought 3 expansion packs from CD Keys and redeemed the codes. When i redeemed the codes i clicked download in EA but I couldn't see any sign of them being downloaded. i opened the game anyway and it said packs being downloaded. I then looked on the 'my packs' list and it said i owned them, so i started a game and none of the things from the pack were in it. i opened the EA app and it says i don't own the packs and it is still asking me to purchase them. I thought there might have been a problem while they were trying to download but i cant manually download them on the EA app since it doesn't think i have bought them. The downloads aren't listed in the downloads manager. I also double checked i had redeemed the code correctly and it said 'code already redeemed'.
I previously bought from CD Keys and it worked fine, the EA app recognized that i had bought it and it automatically downloaded and immediately worked in game.
Right now in the EA app the expansion packs i bought aren't being recognized, but in the 'my packs' list in the game they are visible. When i start a game the items from the packs don't show up in CAS or in game. i have enough space to download the packs.

I bought an expansion pack (cats & dogs) from eneba and it gave me a key. I redeemed that key into EA and it showed me that i redeemed it. But when i went to manage add-ons it wasn't there. I then launched the game and i went to see my packs and it was there. When I went to create a new save it didn't show me anything about this pack.
@TeAm0Ell EA is 100% at fault when the game recognises the pack as owned just not download. It is so terrible the fact we cannot play the game at our leisure due to the awful EA app. There are problems with it constantly and it’s just not good enough. They need to resolve this issue ASAP. 😭
@edenella I’ve been playing around with it, MOVE YOUR EA FOLDER and re download the entire thing and sims it shows up then. You can’t even get in contact with them and when you do they are rude and belligerent
@TeAm0Ell I have tried uninstalling the EA app and reinstalling it like 3 times already. Some people say that if you go into your account settings and change region then clear the cache in the app it makes the downloads appear but that hasn’t worked for me either unfortunately. Thank you anyway! 😢
@edenella Cache is garbage but If you re download the entire thing right and then try manage, it might randomly appear. I left my PC for a night and then I came back and it was there under manage
@SheriGRI have tried to reach out to EA help, unfortunately when I replied to the email they sent me as instructed I got an auto generated response saying that the email address is not monitored, and my case is stuck on 'waiting for player', asking me to click to redeem case which does not do anything.
@mildredalien Same issue. The ticket says waiting for player and asks you to resume but when you do - it just asks you to do the same thing. Almost like EA isn't actually doing anything.
