Sims 4 freelance and odd jobs not working

I recently got the Moschino pack so my Sim could be a freelance photographer and everything seems to be going great with him but I made his girlfriend a freelance writer and she did a clickbait article that went fine, took another job and its not getting complete. She writes the clickbait article but it doesn't get checked off as done, I send it off and it gets approved and it still doesn't get checked off. Then I decided that while I wait for the photographers photos to get sent back to him he would do some odd jobs, got a job to take pictures of Mua Pelam, went and took pictures and that was ALSO not getting checked off as done, I took about 40 pictures, shots of the waterfall, the volcano, the beach, everywhere but it still said 0/2 photos taken. Can't find a work around other than simply not playing that household for a while until it's fixed because his odd job rating has been messed up and her job performance is lowering after the second day.
