Hi @ClaudiaSoup
Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Repair the game
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

Hi @crinrict ! The problem is actually worse now which I'm a little surprised at! I had been playing in just a windowed fullscreen mode, but then my game got stuck on a save screen so I decided to go back to trying to fix it. I created the "_Old" folder, repaired, and when the game opened up it only had half the blue opening screen. Repaired again, got stuck on a green diamond (not moving, but the music was playing). I'm now attempting a third repair but my EA app just crashed! I'm not sure what to do now, but I'll keep attempting repairs in the meantime.
