Sims 4 freezes when I try to close

Whenever I try to close my game, it freezes. Like when I save and close it while I'm in live mode, it saves fine but then it freezes and everything goes transparent, and when I try to open up anot...

@bluedawn221  Just to be sure, your progress is saved when you save and quit, as in, you can pick up where you left off in the next play session?  Do you use OneDrive, and have you set it to automatically sync the contents of Documents?  Here's how to check:

For good measure, please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Yes, my progress is saved when I save and quit, and no, I don't believe I use OneDrive.

    @bluedawn221  Please check that OneDrive setting anyway, and please post a dxdiag, as requested.  And let me know whether you use a third-party antivirus, and if so, which one.

      And also I do use avast as an antivirus
