Mods become incompatible with patches
That seemed to do the trick but can i now add my mods back in? All my sims were made up of CC and i would like CC in my game!
You can add your cc back.
Mods need checking. Go tot he sites where you've downloaded them and check what others/the creators say about them. Only put back what's safe.

Ok so i just tried to run my game.... everything is fine but the sim icons at the bottom have disappeared... i'm just running through my mods and re-installing them
Ok so i've ran through my mods and deleted them, re-installed them, repaired my game through origin and just ran it... they can now cook birthday cakes... but now for awhile before any action my sims just stand there still, not doing anything!
Did you reinstall your mods without checking if they are broken or not ?
yes, i left the cc because i thought it would be the mods... but how do i check if they're broken or not?
