Sims 4 Frozen after Sims Delivery Update

After the new Sims Delivery update, my game won't load at all. It opens up to that info screen saying welcome to Sims Delivery and then freezes and won't load. I have done the following and nothing has worked:

-removed all mods and custom content

-uninstalled One Drive from laptop

-cleared cahce from Sims folder

-checked to make sure all specs were met and graphics card is up to date

-repaired game in EA app

-closed via task manager

-restarted computer

-restarted Wi-Fi router

I have talked to EA support, they suggested an advanced launch. He said to choose the 64blt option but I didn't get an option. In the EA app, its an empty text box that has "example: -myargument" in the text box. He did not know what for me to put in that box. He has reported it as an issue to the EA team and suggested I post here and wait a few days.

I uninstalled One Drive to try fixing this issue and it didn't help, and I just have Windows Security. I've tried to go offline and launch the game but I can't dismiss the Sims Delivery message to even get to game settings

@kyleefoust123  I noticed this thread is marked as solved, but I don't know whether you did that or someone else.  If your issue is solved, feel free to disregard the advice below.

Otherwise, does pressing the Esc key dismiss the SDX message?

If that doesn't help, try playing while offline again, but in addition, move the Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  The game will spawn a clean folder with none of your existing content, but the files will all be intact and can be restored later.  For now, the question is whether you can get rid of the SDX error.

Hi, no I'm not sure how it was marked as solved. It is still an ongoing issue. I have tried using escape to dismiss it, and have also tried relaunching after moving the folder out and it's still frozen. It just loads up to the start game screen and freezes still.

@kyleefoust123  I unmarked the post as the solution.

Try editing Options.ini, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, to tell the game not to download the SDX update.  The setting is cdsautomaticupdates , and it should be right at the top of the file.
