sims 4 game keeps minimizing and won't work

Question

hi, I updated my Sims the other day and all went well the first time I played. ever since my game will open and start to load and then minimize the second it loads up then I can't keep the game open, I've made sure all my drivers on my laptop are up to date and my memory works like it should, and I fixed that last night but now I can't load sims. I've uninstalled and reinstalled as well as repaired the game which does nothing. 😢

@princessdoughnut&nbsp; Try forcing the game to open in windowed mode.&nbsp; Go into Documents &gt; Electronic Arts &gt; The Sims 4, open Options.ini, search for fullscreen , and set it to 0 (zero).&nbsp; If this helps, you can return to fullscreen mode once you reach the Main Menu, but at the same time, set the in-game resolution to match the resolution of your laptop screen.

If that doesn't make a difference, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
