Sims 4 game not reading my SSD drive

Hello! This is my first time doing a forum but I really am stuck on what to do.

I haven't played the sims 4 in so long due to school, but ever since I updated my game, for some odd reason, all my save files, mods, etc., are gone!  But on my hard drive, they are still there. I have watched YouTube videos and even tried to do it on my own, but I can't figure it out for the life of me haha!

Currently, my Documents folder has always been transferred to my SSD drive, and it has had no issue up until now. So, I technically don't have a Documents folder on my Windows computer. That is currently how it looks like on my SSD drive:

G:\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4

If anyone can help me on this issue, I would appreciate it! Thank you!
