Sims 4 Get to Work crash

I just downloaded the Get to Work expansion pack today, it downloaded fine. but every time i press play it makes it all the way to the opening screen where is says "The Sims 4" but the play button do...

    I have tried restarting my computer and uninstalling the Sims 4 but still nothing sadly ☹️
