Sims 4 get to work wont apper

I purchased the Sims 4 Get To Work expansion pack today from inside the game (I went to the Sims 4 'my packs' section and bought it from there) and it said once it was finished downloading, I just had to restart the game to install it. So I did that. Nothing happened and when I checked the 'my packs' section, it said the same thing again. I went to my origin client and checked my games but Sims 4 Get to work didn't appear so I refreshed my games but nothing changed so I went online to check and I did all the things the EA site told me to but that didn't work (I even uninstalled and re installed it) so I went to the live chat but it wasint working. I sat there for over 10 minutes waiting and tried it several times but it wouldn't connect me.  I went onto TS4 again and checked it. It said the same thing; Reload your game to install.  So now i'm here. Does anyone else have this issue/know whats wrong? (My sister's computer is having the same issue so its not just my computer)

  • No, I wasint. I was looking at it though the main menu in game. However, when I did look in game details it appeared and allowed me to download it there. So thanks!

  • My get to work still says processing!!! But I was already billed. So now what? 🙂

    How many days has it been like that SINCE it released?  If it's been 24 hours...

    If it's been that 24 hours already since release date and it's still processing.. Do not let them tell you to wait more if they can't help you in other ways.  You tell them to cancel the order.  Then go buy it again.

    The reason this happens is you are not charged until release date.  If there is something wrong with the order (Origin is funky with CCs) it will hang in limbo for ages and eventually fail.

    Paypal is the best option.. you're still paying with your CC and you don't have to spread your CC all over the internet.  How many huge companies have had person info breached in the last few years?

  • I have had lots of issues with paypal as well, so I am very turned off. I simply load a green dot and this keeps me on budget. I don't shop online with any other card. BUT I feel you. I do see there where it offers me to cancel. I set a call, as well via your advice in another post. Should I simply cancel, move on and reorder or wait for the call.
