Sims 4 is installing really slow

I bought the game today, and I put disc 1 into my ccomputer, and follwed the steps ad began instillation. I started about 1:45 and its 4:17 and yet, I'm only at 41% ? I was curious as to what might be causing this, I am using a windows 7 professional, it is a 64 bit. My internet, yes, is not the fastest, but this is honestly ridiculous. Is any one expierencing this?

    With download issues it's best to use the Origin forum and also read the Origin FAQ,

    Dont know if this helps but a origin issue report came up. So i filled it in with my origin ID and the percetage has just gone from 7% (which i've been waitng at for ages!) to 30%. As i write its reaching 60%

  • I restored my whole computer and reinstalled Origin, and started "downloading" The Sims 4 again. And I think I started around 10PM Saturday night and it is now 11AM Sunday morning and it's only at 56% -.- this is such bullcrap. The longest The Sims 3 and The Sims 2 NEVER took this long. It look 2 hour at the most..

    It's taken AN HOUR to get to 3%. How do I get it to download faster? I've restarted, closed out of origin, that kind of stuff. Does it really take this long? Is there NO way to speed it up?

    Same issue here... Ive tried re starting, tried eveyrthing ive found on google and still nothing. 

    Mine says downloading, not coping.
