Game is ridiculously slow. Plays Starcraft 2, Heroes of Newerth, World of Warcraft fine on high graphics... Why is the Sims so slow?
I assume it hasn't gotten any better after yesterday's patch ?
I doubt I can replicate but could you upload a save anyways ? Just to give it a try.

Sorry for the delay. We installed Sims 4 on my boyfriends gaming PC, copied my save folder over, and played there. We noticed his processor is getting destroyed by the saved game. He has a very good gaming PC. While playing this game, his CPU is at 80-90% CPU usage. I noticed my sims stopped moving, and that is when his CPU was at 100% usage from the sims 4.

The load times are still long on his PC, and the slowness is there a little, but no where near as extreme on my laptop, probably because his computer is way better than mine.
Do you see the same symptoms on a new save game on his computer ?

My computer has 35%-40% CPU usage and no lags .. and my computer is about 4 years old.
Doesn't seem save game related.

I feel like the game is running better on middle class computers than on high-end one.
Is your CPU also going up to 100% when you see the stops or just your boyfriend ?
