Sims 4 is stuck on installing an update

Hi 

I have been playing sims 4 fine for nearly a year. However when it updated it downloaded fine but has been stuck on installing for days. Please help i cant play this game while it is installing.

    Try pausing and resuming the download. If that won't help just ctrl+alt+del and force close Origin. When it's closed, start it again with the download.
