Sims 4 June 2020 update Crashing PC

My game keeps crashing. I've tried repairing it through Origin, and that doesn't help. I've never used any mods or cc. I open the game and it gets as far as the logo screen but instead of going to the loading screen which leads to the main menu, it just goes white and then stops responding. It's been slower and slower recently and and it was just before the 3rd June 2020 update that it just stopped working completely. I was hoping the update would fix it but it didn't. I tried removing my saves from the game, but still had the problem. Can somebody help?
