Did some more research on my own, and fixed it! For anyone facing the same issue, here's what the problem ended up being, and how I solved it:

Problem: Drivers from Microsoft / Windows OS were up to date, but the drivers / chipset for AMD Software were not, which caused them to time out during gameplay. The updates for these particular things seem to be only displayed from within the AMD software application itself, so if you're like me and you're newer to high performance computing, just know they might not show up under the general "updates" tab that Windows OS would show on a typical PC / Laptop.

Solution: First update the AMD Software application (from the official AMD website), and then update the drivers, & chipset from within the AMD Software app. For me, they popped up automatically, but you should be able to do it manually as well if needed. After that finishes, restart the computer to complete the installation process! Hope it helps : )
