@SalemCrossing Please remove your existing game folder from Documents\Electronic Arts; you can put it on your desktop. Launch the game, start a new save (no need to spend much time in CAS, since this is just for testing), and see whether you can load it fully. If so, save, quit, reload, and try again, just to make sure. If it still works, the problem is something in your old game folder. The first suspect is always outdated mods or custom content, so test those files before doing anything else. You can test everything in the new game folder; any batch that causes another crash needs to be split and tested again until you've found the problem. Don't move your saves over until you've confirmed that everything else works. Here's an explanation of everything you'll find in your game folder:

If you can't get the game to load properly even with a completely clean game folder in place, before you've moved anything into it, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
