Some mods are created to "fix" bugs that crop up in the game, however when the patches/updates are released by EA they can conflict with the Mods that you may play with because the game code has changed. You should check with the places you got the Mods from and make sure they have updated to the latest patch. If they haven't, you'll just have either wait until they do or play without them.
As a side note, whenever a new patch is released you should always remove your mods and slowly add them back in to make sure they do not cause your game to crash.
