Sims 4 Keeps Flickering?

I have the Sims 4 on my laptop and for the past few months the game has been flickering. In CAS, build/buy mode, and in live mode. I keep my driver up to date and I've repaired my game multiple times, but it still flickers. I even took all of my cc and mods out but it still does it. How can I fix it? It's really starting to bug me.

    @bpeddle321  It is possible the Dell drivers may be older then the drivers you have but there may be a problem with the newer drivers and your computer. While it is unusual to have to reinstall older drovers it does happen. It could be issues with newer drivers or the wrong drivers.

    and my Sims 3 plays still and I've been seeing ppl post their sims 4 game works better on their computer then the Sims 3.

    Like I wrote to you before: "Hm yes well game updates can cause problems for the game if the computer is not up to par (yours does not meet minimum requirements), I guess you should be happy that the game worked this far."

    With the new game update that came with C&D many things changed. If you also have that expansion that might explain it even more.
    Also as I said, make sure you're running the game in lowest settings, enable vsync and laptop mode.

    Sims 4 vs Sims 3 depends on things like no expansion packs. Also the games are very different built so you can't really say that one has higher requirements than the other 🙂
    Sims 4 needs more RAM for example and Sims 3 have higher requirements on the processor (than the base game)

    Hi, sorry to bother you, I'm kinda having a problem too. The top half of the screen in Sims 4 keeps flickering. When I'm in live mode, the bottom half of the screen will be fine, but the top half flickers really quickly in and out, showing the main menu screen, or the last screen that I was on. I don't know if this is the same problem that other people are having, but please help!
