@CartoonTrain94 Please remove your Mods folder if there's anything at all inside other than Resource.cfg. You don't have to save your progress; this is just for testing.
If that doesn't help, try building on a different lot in a different neighborhood. If that doesn't help either, please run a dxdiag and attach it to your reply.

I hope this is what you need and that it helps.
@CartoonTrain94 That does help. Try forcing Sims 4 to use DirectX 11 mode. Open the EA App, click Sims 4 > Manage > View properties, and add -dx11 to the command line box.
Your dxdiag also lists a few crashes of the Windows USB 3 driver. These are typically not serious and can usually be fixed by disconnecting all USB 3 devices (mouse, headphones, whatever) and restarting your computer, then reconnecting the devices. So please do that too.
If you get any more crashes, please try changing these setting (post 17), which originally helped with a different model Surface but sometimes also applies to other models:

I did everything you suggested and it's still happening.
@CartoonTrain94 Please try again to play, still in DirectX 11 mode, and look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of your most recent Sims 4 crash. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.

All it does is tell me that it can't find it and that I need to type it in correctly which is what I do every time I type it in.
@CartoonTrain94 Are you entering exactly this in the run box?
perfmon /rel
If so, and it's not opening, there are other ways to open the Reliability Monitor, for example:

When I try to make the report, it keeps saying that it's an unsupported extension type it doesn't show as a result.
@CartoonTrain94 You don't need to make a report. Just copy and paste the text into a reply here, or use Windows key-shift-S to take a screenshot.

It said the file is an unsupported extension type, that's the problem.
