Sims 4 keys don't work with Discord in the background

Btw this issue occurs without mods but whenever i have Discord open, when i get in to Sims 4 i can't change speed with keys, can't pause with ESC key, nothing at all except the WASD/Arrow keys work, ...

thanks, i turned off the overlay and it worked
