Hey all,
Thank you all for supplying us with the Error ID's we needed to raise this issue, it is now under investigation with the relevant teams.
I will continue to provide updates as I get them in this thread.

Is there any update regarding the investigation of this problem? My Case with EA Help was marked as 'Fixed' but nothing has changed when I tried installing the game this morning. I have a child with additional support needs who is desperate to play their favourite game and I have to keep telling them that it's being looked into. This is only going to last so long before they become extremely upset. They use this game as a way to de-stress and this prolonged issue due to the EA app is becoming increasingly frustrating.
I hate to sound like a parrot, repeating what's been said across all the other posts on this forum, but this was never an issue in Origin and the sheer lack of being able to get a straight answer on what's happening is infuriating.
When the game installation screen first appears, the option for English; which I'm assuming is the default for the game, appears for a couple of seconds but then the EA app obviously checks records server side and then sends back information stating that the game is Czech, Polish or Russian. There's a database somewhere that needs looked at by someone with a clue as to what's going on.

@bazzajunior Even though the underlying issue hasn't been resolved, you can still go to EA customer support and ask that the language-locked version of the base game be removed from your account, and the global version added if it's not already present. (You might have two copies, your original and the language-locked one that's now overriding it.) A support rep should be able to fix this for you, as they've been doing so for others for months now.

Make sure you choose live chat, not email. If you don't see the option, change the location in your browser window to U.S. or U.K., or choose a slightly different category of issue. And if you don't get anywhere with the first support rep, try again with someone else.
I've also seen at least one person whose issue was two copies of the Digital Deluxe upgrade, so if you have the DD, make sure the rep checks it as well.

Update:
I called customer support again. I have my language back now.
They said that I have two language packages. probably by buying an add on.
I described the problem to the employee and he was able to simply delete the wrong language package
- maybe try it that way! 🙂
