Sims 4 not all cc showing and not loading

Whenever i launch sims 4 from origin, i go onto CAS and only a few of my cc/mods are showing up and i have a lot more in my folder. After leaving CAS and going to choose a world, the loading screen h...

    I've had this problem before. You can try going back to a previous save.

    If that doesn't work, you might try resetting Sims 4.

    Rename your Sims 4 folder to Sims 4_Backup. The game will create a new one next time you play.

    - Renaming it or moving it to the desktop will help you have a backup and keep your Sims 4 files safe.

    Repair the Sims 4 game. In Origin > Game Library - right-click on Sims 4 and select Repair.

    Try playing the game, this will create a new Sims 4 folder. Try playing a new save, if everything is playing okay, try playing your broken game. If it's still giving you issues, then do not save.

    However if it does work, then start putting the files back.

    If all goes well with a new game. Copy your old saved games from your backup. (list of files and folders below).

    - Options.ini (User game settings)
    - Tray Folder (Sims/Houses/Commercial lots and rooms)
    - Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    - Rest of the save games, if any.
    (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave. It is not used anymore.)
    - Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, makeup
    - Mods (Put these back one by one to make sure they all still work)

    Please do test your mods and custom content, as some of them maybe outdated and either need to be deleted or replaced.

Have you tried taking out your mods, clearing your game cache and trying a new game to see if that helps?

To help troubleshoot mod/cc problems:

The newest game patch broke several mods and custom content. This can happen as we get updates for the game. Players using mods and cc have to go through their mods folder to find what needs to be deleted or replaced.

Disabling or turning off both mod/cc options isn't enough of a test.

To test this, move your mods folder to the desktop, clear your game cache to help with troubleshooting. Try playing the game again to test. If it loads okay, it may be that some of the mods/cc have become outdated.

    Thanks for your reply,

    I tried everything you suggested but now the game will not even open! i l click play on origin and it opens a black screen for a few seconds and then closes back to my desktop.

    Is this an issue with the new update?

    I don't understand what has happened.

      Update-

      game now works however when i select a lot it shows an endless loading screen

      any solutions will be much appreciated.
