Sims 4 not connecting to wifi - Issue from business & hobbies update

My game hasn't been starting when connected to wifi, however will start when onfline but will then not connect to wifi once game has started. I have uninstalled both the Sims 4 and EA, removed my mods folder, check the validity of my game through steam. I don't have a repair option in EA, and I followed the steps from this: can't connect to internet | EA Forums - 11751404. However, it didn't help and has infact broken my game worse, with me being unable to play when offline, and even unable to open EA as it states background services crashed with error code EC:104. Restarting the app like it suggests does nothing.
