@lolcg Please move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just see whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If the game still doesn't start, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

@puzzlezaddict Hello! Thanks for the reply, I tried to move my folder to my desktop and open the game but unfortunately its still not working ☹️ For some reason I can't reply with my dxdiag because it says I don't have permission?
@lolcg Just to check, when you moved the folder to your desktop, did it actually move, or did you just move a copy, with the original staying where it was?
For the dxdiag, just attach the .txt file to a post. Any forum member should have permission to do that. Click the Browse button below the text field here to find the file itself on your computer.

@lolcg That's odd that you can't use the Reply button; that shouldn't be a problem either.
Regardless, you can instead upload the dxdiag to the free filesharing site of your choice (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.; even the free version of pastebin.com is fine) and link it here.
