Sims 4 not loading

Hey so recently i installed Sims 4 and it says i cant play due to files being missing or broken. I dont have any mods installed and ive uninstalled and installed Sims and Origion around 4-5 times. I have also repaired the game every time and still no luck. What am i doing wrong??

    @HotEnderman  Please move your entire Sims 4 user folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, then try to launch the game.

    If it still doesn't work, please look for related entries in the Reliability Monitor; your dxdiag doesn't list any errors that are clearly game- or Origin-related.  Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes.  You'll see a list of errors and updates, with a column for each day.  (Today is all the way on the right.)

    Look fo any new relevant errors, as in, anything from after you move the user folder that mentions Origin or Sims 4 or happens around when you try to play.  If you find any, click "View technical details," then copy the information and paste it into a reply here.  Sometimes the Reliability Monitor doesn't update right away, so if you don't see any related errors, be sure to check back an hour or two.  The timestamp on the initial chart can also be off by up to an hour, so that's not an entirely reliable metric, but the one within the technical details should be accurate.

    Hey @HotEnderman, can you try repairing the game to see if that helps.

     

    Open your My Game Library and then find the game tile and right-click on it. From here select repair and Origin will check your installed files for any issues and should it find any fix them.

    @puzzlezaddict quick thing i just moved the folder to my desktop and i opened the mod folder and there is Resource.cfg is that meant to be there?

    @HotEnderman  The game will create a resource.cfg in the Mods folder all on its own, although I think if you disable mods and delete the file, you won't get another new one.  But that's not necessary: resource.cfg is not a mod, it's a file that instructs the game on how to prioritize mods.
