Everytime I launch the game it gets stuck on the loading screen and won't actually go to the game or it'll kick me off and go to the EA app therefore I have to restart my computer. I've tried repairing the game, I do have mods/cc so I checked those and all of those are up to date . Please help!
@MehoyMinoy8 Please test with no mods or custom content present. Just because a mod hasn't been updated, or even if its creator has cleared it, doesn't mean it's fully compatible with the current patch. You don't need to save your progress; this is just for testing.
If that doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If that doesn't help either, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
