Anaqins You can move your saves and mods from the old Sims 4 folder to the new one. Move your mods first, testing them in batches or using the 50/50 method I linked earlier. The point is to find out first if there are any mods or cc items that are preventing the game from working.
Once you've sorted through the contents of your Mods folder, you can simply transfer the contents of saves, Tray (saved households and builds), plus Screenshots and Recorded Videos if you care about those. The rest will be recreated as necessary.
I deleted all recent mods I had downloaded that month and I tried to use the mod conflict detector but it was confusing and nothing came up anyway. My Electronic Arts folder is still out on my desktop and if I click The Sims 4 which is inside it and go into it and then the mods folder, all my mods are still in there and the same with my tray files too? But nothing is showing up on the actual game even though mods are enabled. Also none of my saved games are back. I’ll probably try and go through my mods again. Maybe I’m being really dense here but I’m really trying to figure it out 😭. Thank you for the help so far though! :)
