Anaqins The game can't read the Sims 4 folder on your desktop. That's the point of moving it: to see whether the game works with none of your existing content. To restore the content, move the files back to their respective folders in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.
However, if the game only worked once you moved the folder, then the problem is something in that folder on your desktop. So don't just restore everything; test the files to see what makes the game stop working. Go through your mods and custom content first, and once you've removed anything broken, you can transfer the contents of the saves and Tray (saved households and builds) folders, plus Screenshots and Recorded Videos if you care about those. The rest can be discarded.
