sims 4 not recognizing hard drive space
EA is showing the storage space I have is 19.67 gb however I have an external drive plugged in and set up with approximately 3 tb available. Anytime I switch between my D: drive and my C: drive the same amount of available storage is shown. I have no idea how to trouble shoot this I have been watching youtube videos and reading forums with no solution in sight.
@OliverRaitt The EA App appears to need enough free space on C to download a game, at least some of the time. So please try clearing a little more space on C. But it doesn't need to be 50 GB: uncheck all of your packs, and the required free space will be more like 20 GB. You can download your packs later, once the base game is installed on D. In fact, when you launch the game once and then quit, the EA App may start downloading your packs automatically.
Additionally, please install Sims 4 into a folder on D, one not called "The Sims 4." (Call it "Games" or whatever you want.) This is better for several reasons, including making it simpler to use the external drive for other files without worrying about possible data loss.
Edit: Please also create an EA App error report:

and post the report ID here.
