Sims 4 Official announcement Pop-ups at start of game, wont' close cause crash!

Pop-ups/Announcements always crash my game. 

Every time the Sims 4 put a pop-up in the game I unable to close the box and it crashes my game. The recent "Hey, simmers we're aware of concern..." pop-up regarding the aging bug is doing that right now! I can't get start the game because I can't close the pop-up box, it just crashes and freezes the game. 

This happened with the BLM pop-up.

HELP!
