Sims 4 on Chromebook

I want to get a copy of the Sims 4, if I buy the downloadable version will it be able to run on my Chromebook?

    @nmalvarosa  The Sims 4 will not run on a Chromebook. The game requires the Windows operating system or OS X (mac) operating system. Chromebook uses a Linux version called Chrome OS developed by Google. Chrome OS is not a full feature operating system (IMO) and relies on the web for storage (cloud) and other features. I don't think the Chromebook hardware would support a full feature version of Linux as why would Google create a stripped version as there are full features Linux version already in use. The Chrome OS was developed to run on the Chromebook. I have a Chromebook around here somewhere - I am not impressed. You would be better off getting a laptop and installing Ubuntu on it. While it still wouldn't be able to run The Sims 4 on it you would have a full feature perating system. I am presently using a Ubuntu based desktop right now.
