Sims 4 only shows white screen when trying to launch the game from the ea app.

After installing the new October 22 base game update I have been unable to launch the game from the ea app on my pc. Whenever I click on the sims 4 tab on the ea app to play, my screen will flash bla...

I think it is a dx12. I’m not sure if this helps or not.

That's just what your computer is capable of. To see what the game uses, open the task manager after you started the game.

It looks like this is a bit of a techy issue and others in the tech forum have reported similar.
