Sims 4 path issues

Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.77.146.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Vampires, Get to Work
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In live mode. Get your Sim to do something on another floor of their lot and they will clip/glitch into their destination rather than walking all the way. Also, try getting your Sim to do a regular social interaction with someone. The game will cancel it automatically and will make you tell your Sim to do said interaction once again.
What happens when the bug occurs? They will clip/glitch into their destination rather than walking all the way if they're traveling to another floor of their lot. Interactions also get cancelled randomly right as soon as you command your Sim.
What do you expect to see? I expect my Sim to walk all the way to their destination instead of randomly teleporting/glitching/clipping. Furthermore, I expect my Sims to do what they're told, when they're told to do it.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes.
Please describe the patch or change you made.  Origin forced me to update TS4 on July 20th before playing, as it always does when an update is available. I waited for the July 27th update that was supposed to "fix" a bunch of the game's issues that were introduced with the Cottage Living update on July 20th, but so far, from what I can tell, this update has done nothing whatsoever.

Getting rather annoyed with how often these stupid glitches happen. I've tried with and without mods/CC and it still occurs. It's every single time I get my Sims to do something on another floor of their house that they clip/glitch... and every time I tell them to do something, they don't and I have to tell them twice.. I was sincerely hoping EA would have fixed this in the 7/27 update, but... I guess we have to wait longer? Is there another patch in the works that'll fix this?

It happens regardless of whether I have mods installed or not. And it happens regardless of of I'm playing on a new save or with an older one.

@GreaseBones96  For the sims teleporting or otherwise not walking normally, please use whichever bug report you think is appropriate.

For the dropped actions, please test in a clean user folder.  Move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything to it yet; just start a new save and see how the sims behave.  Please test with sims standing right next to the items (or other sims) you want them to interact with, just to keep the routing/teleporting issue separate.

If your sims still drop their actions, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

This is still happening 100% of the time with a new, completely-untouched user folder, unfortunately. The household I played with would still take unusually long to climb stairs, then they would only just begin to ascend as soon as the camera focused on them. They also seem to teleport to different floors while the camera is focused on them. As for dropped interactions, these happen whether the camera is focused on the Sim or if it is elsewhere.

There should be a .txt with my DxDiag info attached to this post.

@GreaseBones96  Your dxdiag lists a number of Origin errors.  While those errors shouldn't directly interfere with Sims 4, if Origin is using too much of your system resources, it could definitely affect in-game performance.  So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of Origin:

    • Quit Origin, then right-click on the Task Bar and open the Task Manager.  Scroll through looking for Origin entries.  If you find any, click on them and End Task.
    • Clear Origin's cache.
    • Download Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) from here.
    • Launch Revo, select Origin from the list, and click Uninstall.
    • When it finishes uninstalling, select "Moderate" under "scanning modes," and click Scan.
    • If Revo finds any remaining registry entries, select all, delete, and click Next.
    • Revo will display "Remaining Data and Folders."  Select all of them except for the "Origin Games" folder, if it appears.  (This is where Sims 4 and other Origin games are installed by default.)  Delete the rest.
    • Close Revo, and restart your computer.

Next, download the full Origin installer and run it.  Here's the direct download link:

    http://download.dm.origin.com/origin/live/OriginSetup.exe

Be sure to run both the installer and Origin itself as an admin: right-click on each and select "Run as Administrator."

If you see the same dropped actions even when there are no stairs involved in the sim's routing, please restart your computer and try again, this time putting Origin in offline mode before opening the game.  And again, the stairs issue is a known bug; there isn't really anything you can do about it.

By the way, you'll get better performance overall if you plug your monitor directly into the graphics card rather than into the motherboard.
