Sims 4 PC - Social Events Tasks Not Completing

I had an incident during a Date and during the Flea market where I would do the event tasks and they would not register as complete. I have repaired the game, done a factory reset, removed my mods, everything and I cannot figure out the issue. This happened after the latest patch.
