Sims 4-progress did not transfer to new computer!!

Okay, I am in serious need of some help! I have had my SIMS4 game on my Mac laptop for years and have accrued many, many households and such. I ran out of memory on my Mac so I purchased another laptop(it's lenovo). I downloaded Origin and all my expansion packs, stuff packs, etc. When I went into the game, none of my game progress was there. I have cleared the cache and uninstalled/reinstalled on my new laptop. I am at a loss of what I need to do to transfer my progress. I do not understand a lot about technology so I sincerely apologize if this is a super easy fix. I will probably die if I can't transfer my progress and have to start all over.

    Your progress remained on your old computer. To have it on the new one, you need to save the following folders to the pendrive: save and Tray and transfer them to a new computer. Old computer -  Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims4

    I don't work for EA

  • @kreatora Ohhhh okay, so just download the "save" and "tray" folders and put them on the new laptop. Do I need to delete the current folders on the new laptop? And do you know if this will preserve all of my relationships and such? Or will it just save the sims, and buildings?

    @CraneCreek,
    Of course, you need to delete this new saves and Tray before you will paste these old folders in the game folder. You will have all your saved games and all buildings and sims
