@kawaiigurlemily  Your dxdiag lists two Sims 4 crashes, both breakpoint errors, so my first suggestion would be to the Nvidia graphics driver.  But it's a good idea to run a couple of basic checks on your Windows system files first:

    • Hit Windows key-X
    • Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
    • Inside the window that appears, copy and paste “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes, and enter
    • The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here
    • After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key-X again
    • Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator)”
    • Inside the window, copy and paste “sfc /scannow” without quotes, and enter
    • Post the message you receive here

Restart your computer, hit Windows key-i, select Update & Security, and click the box to check for updates.  If any install, restart again afterwards.

You can get the newest Nvidia driver here:

    https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/198400/en-us/

Run the installer as an admin: right-click on the download and select "Run as administrator."  Choose the Custom (not Express) option and check the box to perform a clean install.  Restart your computer after installing the driver and before doing anything else.

Additionally, a component of McAfee is crashing, so you may need to update the software or even disable it temporarily.  There are other antivirus options out there that may work better, including Windows Defender itself, depending on your needs.

@roberta591  I believe this is their computer based on the specs and model number:

    https://support.hp.com/emea_africa-en/document/c08320473

It has a 500W power supply, which should be sufficient for this build or else HP wouldn't be using it.  Nvidia's own spec sheet says the requirement for a 3060 ti is 600W, not 650:

    https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/graphics-cards/30-series/rtx-3060-3060ti/

which is still more than 500, but that would also be a major mistake from HP if the PSU were actually incapable of supporting the build.
