SIMS 4 redeem code been used

Just purchased from a store took off the plastic label went to load it and it says the redeem code had been used. It's fresh out if the box.

Can anyone help. It's my birthday was desperate to play .

If the game is brand-new, that's a weird issue. Please contact an EA Advisor.

Tool it back and hot a replacement. That worked.

I dowloaded it on my birthday -the day it came out in Belgium- without a problem, but when I logged out of my account it suddenly vanished from the dowloads! It's still installed on my laptop, but it's nowhere to be found on my account! I tried diffrent accounts that I no longer use, but found nothing. I searched for a solution, but didn't find one so far... I refuse to buy a new game!
