@naturegirl300 Does the game work on your new computer? From your description, it sounds like the problems running Sims 4 are limited to the old computer, but I want to make sure.
If the game works (minus your missing saves) on the new computer, please create a new save. You don't need to spend much time on it; this is just for testing. Save your progress, exit to the Main Menu, click Load Game, and hover over the folder icon for the save you've just created. That will show you where the corresponding save file is located. Your other saves need to be in that same location.
By the way, if the new save has exactly the same name as one of your old ones, you'll want to change the name of the new save before moving the other files over. Your operating system won't allow two files with the same name in the same location.
@puzzlezaddict Hello, I apologize if I have bad descriptions, explaining things correctly is something I struggle with. The new computer can run the sims, it seems that it was just the old one that could no longer open it, this started after I downloaded University. I did as you said and started a new save etc. The save is in the same location as the ones I put into the game. This morning I looked through the files on my old computer to find all of them in the exact same spot as the thumb drive, I am soon going to try and get my game to open one last time to see if the saves are still in game.
