Sims 4 saying it’s open but isn’t.
The sims 4 sometimes says that it’s open (when I click to play it) and it does the whole “preparing game” but then it never shows up. It doesn’t even show as open, but when I open the EA app it says ...

@Lionwithnofrens Are you getting the "already running" error, or just seeing the game apparently running when it's not? Do you see Sims 4 in the Task Manager? And did you install the game through the EA App or Steam?
It’s saying it’s already running after I open it but it doesn’t open the game, it just says “preparing game” and then sims doesn’t open. It doesn’t say it’s open on the bottom bar either. (Assuming that’s the task manager)

If so, please try the suggestions in the first post of that thread.
Otherwise, what app did you use to install the game (EA or Steam)? And is OneDrive running on this computer? Even if you never use it, OneDrive could be the issue here.
Oh. No I am not getting that error. And it probably is one drive, I have had problems before. I used the EA app
