Sims 4 screen won't move
Hi, I've got a very annoying issue: When in game mode, the shortcuts WASD, XZ, -+ and ,. don't work. Other shortcuts like M, P, 1, 2, 3 do work, and outside of the game mode every key works fine, so my keyboard is not the problem.
I've already tried to find a solution in the Options - doesn't solve it.
I've repaired the game in Origin - doesn't solve it.
I've exited and restarted the game about 6 times - doesn't solve it.
I've restarted my entire laptop - doesn't solve it.
I've pressed every single key, in case pressing a certain one caused this issue - doesn't solve it.
I've tried changing the camera from Sims 4 to 3 - doesn't solve it.
I really don't know what caused this issue, I have no idea how to solve it, and although a small amount of people have had a similar problem, apparently I am the only one on the internet who can't find a working solution.
Please help me so I can go back to playing Sims for hours instead of getting annoyed and quitting the game before I even start playing.
@sannewestendorp The most likely candidate is an overlay that's using the same keys. Disable any overlays you have running: Discord, Steam, whatever. If that doesn't help, try a clean boot. It shouldn't be necessary to play like this going forward, but at least you'll find out whether another background app is interfering.
