Sims 4 seems endlessly updating (currently on 245%) - macbook - Now on 550%

Please help!

The sims 4 update seems to be endlessly updating. Last time I looked it was on 245%. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to fix it?

Using a macbook.

    Do you have CC/Mods? If so, did you move them out before updating?

    Can you quit Origin? Do you get a warning message?

    Have you tried repairing your game?
