Sims 4 Shut down while in build mode adjusting wall height

My sims 4 game keeps closing/crashing out of nowhere everytime I try to adjust the heights of the walls in build mode. Game works fine otherwise so far except from that, what I've noticed. I have mods installed and up to date as much as possible..I also have the latest update of sims. I also do not get a crash report or last exception or anything in the sims 4 folder like it usually does when something is wrong like bad or broken mods. The game screen does not freeze or anything. It loads a little bit for maybe 3-5 seconds after adjusting the height of the wall, before just completely closing down, no error message or game freezing, just shuts itself down like nothing and I'm sent back to the EA app. I Have never had this problem before and It's so specific and weird it makes me think it's a game bug.
