Sims 4 sims cancelling actions

Just updated the other day. No mods or CC. My sim and her toddler were stRuggling I just about got my toddler to complete thinking and then my adult sim couldn't bake a cake..just stirred and stirred. So I tried to travel but that kept cancelling. I saved and tooted over to San Sequoia family center and I was finally able to bake the cake but it literally went off I re-yummied it as a spellcaster, and by some miracle lit it again but my sim picks up the toddler and then cancels it. I was in strangerville and literally just defeated the mother plant and revived for a little weird. I had to travel via manage worlds to get to the family center. I have no mods I did use cheats so I may disable those to just see. Anyone else struggling with autonomy gone rogue to the point of sims just standing or half assing everything?
