Sims 4, Sims Freeze but Time Goes On

After this previous patch for ghosts, my game has been constantly "freezing" you could call it. Whenever my game feels like it, (no matter what my sim is doing) they'll continue doing whatever action they are doing and the time progresses like normal, but you can't make any new interations, change time, etc. Even when you pause the game(like to the actual pause menu), they still continue to be doing that same action instead of not moving. And then after some seconds up to several minutes, it'll reset the time back to when it froze and the action will be over like it never happened. I uploaded a video to Youtube to give a better example.

I'm not really sure if this is a bug or if it's just my computer. But I'm calling it a bug seeing how it happened AFTER the ghost patch.

    @Hexissa that thread is in the bug forum as your can see in the top. 
    That means the problem is a bug, it's in the list of bugs, and there isn't a known fix right now. 
    Add your 'me too' to the first message so EA can see how many people have the issue. 
    Check that topic because that will be the topic where you hopefully one day find a solution. 
    If you find anything that works, let them know, also let them know what you've tried.

    Hello, I have been having this problem as well and I clicked "Me Too" but after troubleshooting I tried multiple things such as repairing the game, lowering graphics settings, and turning off my online access with no luck.  Something I did not try until today was deleting a bunch of things from my library such as huge mansions I have previously downloaded and for whatever reason it worked for me.  Just a tip if anyone wants to try it because it might work for ya'll too.   &It could just be lucky because as I said this is something I just starting trying today and for 2 and a half hours I have not had to deal with that annoying af bug.

    I tried getting rid of all my empty built houses and it didn't work☹️ totally upset. I don't know what else to try. I lowered my graphics, deleted all my old characters, and reinstalled. Superrrr llammee...

    Same here. Probably has nothing to do with your computer specs. I have an 8-core mac 12GB video memory and still have the same issue.

    Did you check that other thread @burin077 has linked above ? Do you have the same symptoms ? If so, providing the info asked there on the first page is very useful.

    This drives me nuts! It doesn't get better and it messes with my gameplay.
