sims 4 skin update removed all my cc and options for cc

for some reason after i got the sims 4 skin tone update when i had gone onto my sims games all my cc was gone even when i went into CAS this cc wasn't there and there was no option to even use cc so there's no  cc and there's no option for cc unless they moved the way to open up cc is this just a me thing or have other people had this problem plus i have no cache and i tried resetting so are there anyways to fix this

    @April_May32 

    You apparently clicked OK to the note at startup saying that Mods/CC had been turned off without reading it. Once you have made sure that you have updated all Mods and CC you have to the latest versions (It will probably take some days for the creators to update) then you can enable Mods and CC in your game again.

    Same for me. I updated the game and now my sims don have their cc on. CC and mods are enabled. The cc even shows up in list, however my sims dont have that cc on for some reason. Any idea ?

    @rila87 

    If you saved the game with the CC gone then it is permanently gone. You will need to reapply all or load an older savegame where it is still there.
