Sims 4 Stuck on Infinite Loading Screen Even After Removing Mods

    @StarClustur  That suggests the problem is the router you normally use.  Can you try powercycling it?  You shouldn't need to open any ports, unless someone has already changed the default configuration.  And yes, it's a bit odd, but at least you have something of an answer and a viable workaround.

@puzzlezaddict Sorry it took me so long to respond, but IT WORKED! I have to say:

Disabling the Steam in-game overlay didn’t help, but your other suggestion about using a mobile hotspot gave me an idea. My place has two Wi-Fi networks (one on the 2nd floor and one on the 1st floor). I live on the 1st floor and usually use the Wi-Fi there, which caused the infinite loading screen issue. But when I switched to the 2nd floor Wi-Fi ( Use another network ), as you suggested, the loading screen issue was fixed—even in online mode!

What do you think could be causing the problem? this is kinda weird for me.
But anyway Thank you so much for this suggestion!

    @puzzlezaddict I wasn’t sure what PowerCycle meant, but I turned the router off and then back on, and surprisingly, it FIXED the issue! Thank you so much for the solution! Can I mark it as the solution? Thanks again! Now I can play The Sims in online mode with my main Wi-Fi! Thanks a lot!

    @StarClustur  That's great to hear.  And yes, you should be able to unmark the existing solution using the three dots in the upper-right corner of my previous post, then mark the one you want.
