I don't even have cats and dogs, and I can't load up a saved household even if I sat there for about 3 hours. It's even worse since EA hasn't responded nor talked about why this issue occurs, and I don't have much CC on and I have done everything and still can't play the Sims 4. EA please fix this in a new update, and soon.
Have you tried without any custom content at all ?
A lot has been broken with the patch. Has nothing to do with the EP and also has nothing to do with the amount of cc. One bad cc can screw up your entire game.
CC is not supported by EA which is why they won't fix cc caused errors.
