Hi!
So I just bought the Sims 4 on retail. This is the first time I've tried installing Sims 4 on my laptop, and I got to input the code and Origin took me to this window where it asks me to confirm the product, which I did. Later on it returned me to the Product Code window saying that this product code has already been used.
I have absolutely no idea why that is so. How should I resolve this?

@Gypsygirl1974 Codes and games cannot be resold, you'll have to buy your own game.
Contact your retailer for an exchange. 🙂
MY code is not working because after reinstalling the game because of lag and the window said 'the code was used'

so ive had the sims 4 since Christmas 2014 and it is my second sims game (so I knew what I was doing) and everything was fine.
one day I was playing it and it went into the town menu and just froze. I left it for a few hours but still nothing.
I haven't played it since
now, 6 months later I wanted to play it but it came up with a notification saying I had never installed the game and it didn't come up on my list of games on my origin account. as I put the disk in, it said I need to activate it to play it.
so I put in the serial code and press next on the next page that shows up but then it goes back to the original page with the box for the serial code and says "this code has already been used"
its like the actual game and files and everything had just vanished with no trace what-so-ever
Where did you purchase the game?
Log back into Origin with the same account you registered the game on. 🙂

Where did you purchase your code from? If it was Origin, you just need to log into Origin with the account with which you've purchased the game and everything should be working smoothly from there.
If it was another online retailer, I suggest you contact them. 😉
