Sims 4 Trackpad Help

Playing Sim4 with the Sims 3 camera on PC, not MAC. The trackpad does not rotate the camera how it used to. The only option is CTRL+scroll, but clicking the trackpad to scroll makes the camera very laggy and not ideal.

Does anyone know how to get camera rotation working correctly using the trackpad?

@STUDL3Y Just to be clear, what motion were you using to rotate the camera? Do you have any other apps open while playing that come with overlays, for example Steam or Discord? If so, please disable them, and disable the EA App in-game overlay too; the option is under Settings > Application.
