@MotorDaffodil64 @RebeccaJeanine71 @LoriH572 @Behcaww @PersephoneEko  It would be helpful to know whether switching to DirectX 9 (in the graphics settings, in the lower-right corner) helps you as well.  However, you won't see the option if your game is defaulting to DX9 mode or if you've forced DX9 or 11 mode in the EA App.

Either way, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

@Willowstar74  Thanks for posting what worked for you.  I'd like to see a dxdiag from your system as well, to compare it to other systems with the same issue.

@puzzlezaddict Sorry to Interupt - I'm also having the issue but mine is DirectX 12 Idk if thats the info you need??

    @Receivingss  No, I'd like the entire dxdiag.  Your computer supports DirectX 12, but that's irrelevant here: Sims 4 runs in either DX9 or 11 mode, depending on the GPU and whether the user has forced one option or the other.

        @Receivingss  It looks like you just switched Sims 4 to DirectX 9 mode?  Did that solve your issue?

        Separately, it also looks like you have a lot of background apps open.  If you didn't open all of these yourself, you might want to check the Task Manager's Startup section for anything that's set to start with Windows but doesn't need to be open.  Disabling these apps on startup wouldn't make them stop working; they just wouldn't open until you told them to do so.

        If you want me to look over your list of startup apps, feel free to post screenshots.  Use Windows key-shift-S to capture that portion of the screen.
